The Easter Bunny came to our house again this year and he hid plastic eggs outside the house instead of the hard boiled ones like he hid last year. Parker loved it. The bunny hid baseball eggs and colored eggs, but Parker only really like the colored eggs. He just thought the baseballs were baseballs. Note to bunny. Hope everyone a wonderful Easter and break!

Today was the last week for Scott's Biggest Loser Comp. at the High School. Turns out he won!! First place received $400. Second took $200. I think third won $100 and $100 went to donation. He is super skinny, now it's my turn to lose some weight. However, tonight he ordered: a sub, jalapeno poppers and a pizza all for himself. I think he has lost over 30 lbs. Good for him!!

First Family Movie Night

Last month we decided to do family movie night with Parker and it has been a hit ever since. Almost every Friday and Sat. night the family room turns into the movie theatre and we rent a movie and get pizza and popcorn. Parker loves to eat popcorn out of his popcorn cup and now asks for it. He will also bring us the remote telling us he wants a movie. He is talking so much now, it amazes me every day. Daddy with the babes.

The Sick House

The Loomis' are going down like flies. Three weeks ago Parker got super sick. He went to the Dr. and ended up on a baby zpack. That did the job. Two weeks ago Cam went to the Dr. and ended up having an ear infection and is currently taking medicine for it. This past week I have come down with some terrible virus (which by the pediatrician's opinion is h1n1). I haven't made it in to school all week. I haven't felt this terrible since i had the flu last year. It started with a very sore throat, then a cough came. I just can't seem to shake it and they are limited as to what they can give me so we'll just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. I hope Scott doesn't get it. He started biggest loser at school last week and has already lost 10lbs. He is very dedicated and I have been eating all his healthy meals. It's great! I asked Dr. Prior's office if I could join in the fun and they said "Go for it!" I"m going to start Monday or as soon as I shake this cold. Michele and I are going to run a 3 mi. winter run at the end of Feb. so I have to get started training for that. After that we are going to try for the Arnold run in March. That one is going to be a little harder, it's a 5K. Well, there is the Loomis update. Enjoy!

Santa was very good to us this year, and Mommy and Daddy didn't do too bad either. :)

As you can see, all of out ornaments had to be at the top this year. I tried to put some down at the bottom that couldn't be broken, but needless to say, that didn't last long. It might just look like this for the next couple years.

New Year's Resolution..

To be a better blogger!! Santa (also known as Gary and Sheila) bought Scott and I a new camera for Christmas. I have tons of pics, but things have not been well at the Loomis home. Parker came down with a bad cough, runny nose, etc. on Christmas day and Camden got the same terrible cough on New Year's Day. Come to find out on Monday that Cam also has an ear infection in her left ear. To my surprise, I actually noticed it the day before. Scott complimented me on my observation. She kept putting her hand to her ear and kinda tugging on it. She is not taking amoxicilin (sp.?) twice a day. I promise I will post pics on the first snow day or the weekend, whichever comes first.

It's Kind of a Big Deal...

Tonight we took the babies to see the Christmas parade. Parker was running around like a wild man until he fell and hit his head (big suprise). Once it started, he sat like a little angel and watched the entire thing. He really liked it. Then after the parade we....drum roll please......went to dinner with both children for the first time. It actually went very well.

p.s. if anyone wants to get us a new camera for christmas....that would be great. it just so happens that there was a hole in the backpack I had on tonight and the camera fell out and now the back and ok buttons do not work. it's time santa, it's time.

Also, today at school we had a "staff meeting" that for some reason I had no idea about. I wasn't really suspicious though bc, lets be honest, I don't pay attention to meetings and try as I might, getting to school on-time in the morning just isn't in the cards right now. I try, I really do, but I just can't seem to get there until 8:15. Anywho, the "staff meeting" turned out to be a suprise baby shower for me, Kimmie and Autumn. It was so nice. I had tears in my eyes. They bought Parker a Chuck the Truck toy, which he totally loves, as well as the pink balloons and a book that everyone signed and a gift card for Camden. It was so nice and the cake was delicious. Thanks everyone!

We took Parker to the fair on Saturday. He loved to run around. Didn't care much for his stroller. I can't blame him, there is so much to see. He did play two games where he throws the ball. One trip was enough for us, however, I do love fair food.

When Camden was ready to come, she didn't mess around. This little girl decided she wanted to come Friday night and I don't think I was even ready. My water broke right about midnight and I called the hospital to see if I had time to shower. My water didn't break with Parker, they ended up having to break it. They said to go ahead, but not take too long. We checked into the hospital at 12:20 and little Cami came at 2:19. I had absolutely no contractions until after my water broke and by the time I got to the hospital they were 3 minutes apart. Within an hour they were 1-2 minutes apart. They were so strong and I kept asking if the epidural was coming...yeah it came, in time for me to have a baby. Jim got as far as numbing my back and that's when she came. They had to yell for Dr. Prior and Scott to get in the room and good thing because two pushes later, there she was. After the first push Dr. Prior said if you give a good one on the next push she will be out. I would do anything to stop those contractions so low and behold, there she was. We still cannot believe how fast it all happened. I knew that second babies were supposed to come fast, but wow!

I must be able to do magic bc I was scheduled to go to the doctor today, but I wanted to know what was going on so I called yesterday and got in at 3. I waited for 30 minutes before I even got into a room then another 30 minutes before the doctor came to see me. The best part, yet another new doctor. This was Dr. Mayo. I decided to go ahead and see him bc I figure if there was a chance he would deliver, I'd like to meet him before the delivery. So he does his check and it turns out he said I am at a 2. The magical part, I was at a 4 last week and somehow I am getting smaller. Ta da! For my next trick I will be pregnant for the next 9 months being the longest gestation period for a baby in the history of women.

I made this curtain thingy for $15. The ones at Babies-R-Us were over $150. The bear is a Build-A-Bear that has her heart beat recorded on it. I stole that idea from Jacie and her Mom. Thanks!

I made sure to put some flowers and bugs down low bc Parker loves to go in Camden's room and point to them and say "flow" (rhymes with plow).

Doc Update

So I went for my weekly check-up today and Dr. Prior was there. :) He did a check and last week I was a 1-2. Before my check today he said "What if I said a 4-5 then I would be your best friend." To his suprise, I was at a four. His eyebrows went up and he said "Well, you aren't a three." He is my best friend. I think it could be any day now before our little one comes.

The bad news...Scott came home today and doesn't feel well. You know how men are. I'm having contractions but a cold is the worst thing in the world. He took nyquill and is going to sleep on the couch. It's a good thing he isn't...i don't know...having a baby! Let's hope it doesn't happen tonight or I'm going to need a ride.

I promise to post pictures soon, but once again, the camera thingy isn't working so I can't upload them to the computer.

Welp, I had yet another dr. apt. yesterday. They did the strep B test. Awesome! I start going every week now so I'll go back again next Tues. in which I will be 37 weeks prego and counting. I voiced my concern about the other doctor and not feeling very confident with him so I guess it's out of my hands who will deliver. I hope it's dr. prior, but I don't really get a choice. I hope this baby comes in the next three weeks. I've dropped a ton!

Can't Sleep

Well, lastnight i had trouble sleeping, but tonight i really can't sleep so i'll update on my dr. visit today...

First things first....dr. mitchell is gone!! he was the young, good looking dr. (scott did not agree) that was working with dr. prior. he is now gone forever and in his place....robert dinero (as described by the nurse.) the new doc is short, stocky and in my opinion, can't read a chart.

he starts off my visit by asking how things are going, i saw well, excpet for these pains that i feel like i am being stabbed in the va-jay-jay with a sharp knife or that my baby is trying to drop one body part at a time through it. he then tells me that i tested negative for the strep b. i tell him i haven't even done the strep b test yet and ta boot, i tested positive for it and i had to have the antibiotic in my iv with parker. he covers that by saying "but your baby tested negative." yes that is true, parker tested negative, or at least i think he did. he was fine after delivery.

then we talk about my last delivery and my plan for this one. i said parker's birth went pretty well, not a lot of pain thanks to my epidural, but a little trouble when pushing him out...they had to use the suction thingy bc he had his right hand up by his face, bent at the elbow. dr. dinero says a fancy word to impress me as to his position, i don't care. i told him "suction" he thinks i said "c-section" which leads to another pointless conversation. he then asks if i plan on having an epidural the second time around, i say yes. he starts into a convo about how it is hard to push, blah blah blah and how long did i push with parker. i tell him that my huband tells me it was about 20 minutes which suprises dr. dinero. i tell him that i could feel the onset of the contractions and it wasn't difficult, it was the fact that his arm was in the way. i did forget to mention the huge tear that came from the whole thing, but i'm sure if he were to read my chart correctly, he would see that.

i went to schedule my next apt. though and mary set me up with dr. prior next time so i'm just going to mention that i don't feel comfortable with the new tool bag and i'd rather, if at all possible, if he could be the one to deliver.

it was very nice though to have the nurse tell me that she wants me to get prego again so they can see me in the office bc they like me. i told her i'd visit and i really didn't want to be prego again or at least a long time from now. never say never. she told me i was going to jinx myself. i love it there! (minus the new dude)

What A Day!

Today Scott wanted to take Parker to visit Salt Fork. We thought he would enjoy a picnic so we started on our way, only to stop half way there because he started puking all over himself about 20 minutes down the road. It was terrible! It smelled so bad that I almost started puking so there Scott was one covered in puke, one about to puke and a car filled with puke. After I felt better, I stripped Parker down to his dipey while Scott cleaned out the carseat. We had to wash everything, including the baby when we got home. Let's just say, Parker has not had the best week. He has been to the ER, fallen down a hundred times, got his finger stuck in the handle of the diswasher, choked on french fries, puked on himself, found his scream and I'm pretty sure he is cutting about four teeth right now. Needless to say, Scott and I are ready for school to start. He was on the verge of being shipped to Granny and Poppy's yesterday, but somehow we made it through. Start praying for us.

Scott The Builder

Can you believe the difference? Scott has been working so hard and it has paid off. He is so handy. The only thing that is left is to put the trim around the window and the shower doors on. We now have a bigger vanity, a huge mirror, new lights, paing and awesome tub. He is such a good hubby and daddy. He is going to need a vacation.

So Much To Say...

Although we haven't done much, as far as vacations go this summer, we have seen a lot of people. We went to see Nanny this week. She just loved Parker and remembered us being there. That was a good thing. Granny, Pop, Scott, Parker and I went to visit and we went to Mehlman's in St. Clairsville for lunch. I love that place.

While outside with Nanny, Parker stuck his face in the flowers and below is the result of pollen. He is such a goof.

Last weekend we went to Campout and all of Scott's buddies showed up with mustaches.

On Monday the 13th, two of my friends from college, Nikki and Lindsay came to visit. Nikki brought her little girl, Kate, who is two months older than Parker. They enjoyed playing together. Parker actually paid attention to her for the most part.

Parker is very much into running and not walking at this time, below you can see the imprint of a brick from the Roscoe Village sidewalks because he fell before I could catch him.

I called the doctor's office today and I passed my three hour sugar test. Yahoo! The girls at the office were wondering when I was going to call.

Good News/Bad News

Today I had my check-up and here is the good news:
I've only gained 14 lbs. as of now.

Here is the bad news:
I failed the sugar test!!!! Ahh!! I had high hopes that I would pass it, even Dr. Prior was suprised. Now I have to eat two pieces of bread for with each meal two days before I go to get the test done again. Then the morning of the test I have to fast. I'll probably go on Tues. I have to be there for three hours this time. Stinky pants! I failed the one hour with Parker and passed the three hour so hopefully I'll pass this time. The nurse said "I really failed." Which makes me think things are bad.

Here is some food for though...
We are only 10 weeks away from our second baby, Parker came 11 days early and Dr. Prior said that statistically your first child comes late and your second will come earlier than your first child. Which means....we could have a baby in 8 weeks and we only have 6 weeks to get the baby room ready (which we haven't even started).

Today Parker got to take his first ride on a boat. He wasn't so sure at first, but as you can tell by the end, he loved it. He watched the water and when we went fast and the wind blew in his hair he was so happy. It wore him out though. He fell asleep in the car before we left the park (4:30) and he is still sleeping (8:00). He is too funny and cute!

Today was my 28 week check-up. All things are going well and I won't need to have a c-section. The placenta is a few centimeters away and they said everything is looking good. Even better...my weight to date is only 11 pounds from this pregnancy, way different from with Parker. I will get the results from the sugar test in a week or two I think. I start my visits every two weeks now and my next appointment is July 9th. We were lucky enough to get some 3D pics today. How cool!??! She kept sticking her tongue out when the ultrasound was being done. Too cute!

Parker was all ready for bed and then we got a call from our friends "The Wrights." They were going to nightglow and since Parker loves the balloons so much, we pulled him out of bed (he wasn't yet asleep, just drinking his night bottle) and took him down to set he balloons. He loves them!

Tomorrow is our last day of school! It can't come soon enough for me, however, Jacie and I are attending a three day conference in Columbus. What were we thinking?? I know what we were thinking...a couple nights away, shopping at Easton and eating good food.

Scott's baseball banquet was tonight. Parker had a great time. He fell down and cut his knee. He was bleeding a little. Then he fell down and scratched his head. He was playing in the rocks with a stick and his truck (trying to put rocks in the truck and push it around) and somehow he fell. I was eating. Scott was taking care of him and before he even presented his baseball stuff, all three of us were covered in dirt, grass, tears and snot. All in all, I'd say it went pretty well.

Summer ball starts next week. Yahoo.

Welp, I went to the doc today and got the best news ever!!! I've only gained 6 pounds. :) I am sooooo happy. At this time with Parker I probably already gained 20. I was HUGE! I go back on the 24th for my next ultrasound, and OB visit and then I have to take the sugar test. I hate the sugar test. Last time I didn't pass the first one and had to go back for the three hour test. Not fun.

Monday the 18th is my next dr. apt. I'll make my next one in June and I'll have another ultrasound to make sure that my placenta has moved up with the baby. The doctor doesn't seem to be too concerned. Apparently it's pretty common. If it hasn't, I will have to have a c-section. I'm not concerned. I think it will have moved up with the baby.

I went a couple weeks ago with my mom and decided to make a registry at Babies-R-Us. I can't wait to get the room ready this summer. Girl stuff is sooooo cute.

Today was such a great day! I woke up to Scott and Parker meeting me in bed with a card, a fern plant for the front porch and a willow tree figure of a mommy with her two babies. One is a boy standing and the other baby is being held by the mommy. For lunch we went to my parent's for lunch. Nothing says "yummm" like cheesy pots and steak. To top off my 2nd annual Mother's Day, Parker is walking!! He has been walking around all day long. He kinda started to walk Thursday night a little more and every night he was walking a little more and today he has been walking all the time. It's great!!!!!

Scott. I owe him $50 and we have to pick a new name, bedding, paint and clothes. I couldn't believe it when she told me (the ultrasound tech). I told her "shut up" then I started crying. I just can't believe it. There was no doubt in my mind that this was going to be a boy. Needless to say Scott is happy bc we can stay in our house and he is off the hook for three kids. :) So Parker is going to be a big brother and have a little sister. I'm still in shock. I can't wait to buy little girl clothes. It turns out thought that I have placenta previa. I have to go back at 28 weeks to have another ultrasound taken. My placenta is laying over the cervix. It should move up at the baby grows, but in the case that it doesn't, I will have to have a c-section. Dr. Prior didn't seem very concerned. I just cannot have any exams done until the next ultrasound.

I Might Be Crazy

I might just be crazy, but I swear this baby is moving. I have felt it moving since yesterday. Only 7 more days until Scott owes me $50 because we find out that we are having another boy.

Time has gone so fast it's hard to believe that in just two weeks we will find out what we are having. I am already 100% sure that we are having another boy. I've done all my crazy things to figure it out, the ring test and now the hairline test. I could use a little girl power in this house right about now. The only other girl power I have meows and barks and believe me, I'm just about ready to get rid of the barking kind.

Our dogs have started acting out soooooo bad. They are like babies. We let them run around, like dogs do, and they are now getting mad at us and have started peeing in the basement every chance they get to sneak down there. Buster has sunk to a new low, throwing up and pooping in his cage. Tonight I had finally had it when they had been our all after school then the second I accidently shut the door and they had access to the basement, they both went running down and peed in the basement. To top it all off, Chloe came back upstairs and puked on the carpet.

I just can't do pregnant, headaches, screaming baby and puking and peeing dogs when I'm by myself every night right now. I'm going to go nutty, if I haven't already...

Let me tell you a little story....

So as I told you, I was super sick and had to be put in the hospital. Well, it turned out that I had an appointment with Sherri Lyons on the Tues. before I had to be put in the hospital. This was the day I woke up at 5:30 in the morning running to the bathroom and going every hour on the hour, like clockwork. It turns out that it slipped my mind to take my dog to get her haircut. Well, I felt so bad that after I got out of the hospital I called and told her how sorry I was and that I would still like to take them. So she makes me another appointment for the following Tues. over my lunch break. Well, that was my first day back at school and let's just say, it was not easy. I came home at lunch, when I could have picked up my dog, but instead I had to spend 30 minutes in the bathroom, food still going straight through me. So, I miss another appointment. I felt terrible, but this virus has held on for over two weeks. The doctor wanted me to come back yesterday and get another sample taken, thinking things were not good. I decided not to go. Anywho, I have to make arrangements for my dad to take the dogs on Wednesday, the 18th to take them. I had to leave my car here and dad not only had to get the dogs there, but get Parker in the car too. I told him to give her a good tip because I felt so bad. Well, good thing he didn't tip her at all because she charged us $100. Not only did we just get charged for the cuts, $70, but she charged me for missing one of the appointments. I couldn't believe it! I understand that she needs to make her money, but come on. I have spent over 500 hours sitting on the toilet or puking into it in the last two weeks. It's not like I was hanging out at the bar having a great ol' time, I was dying (really I thought my body was slowly shutting down and I really was dying, I have never been so sick.) Not to mention, she never once has said anything to us about charging for missed appointments. She said "Well, I only charged them for one, not two." Oh thank you! In return, we are NEVER going back to her ever again. So if you have a groomer that you use, who doesn't rip you off, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Well, last week was nothing like I would have ever expected. I had been sick since Tues. morning at 5:30 and by the time I woke up Thurs. morning, around 6:30, still throwing up and the poops, we decided it was time to go to the hospital. We checked in around 6:30 am and they started me on an I.V. I must have been more dehydrated than I thought bc I was admitted. I was not released until Sat. around 2. I had to spend the night two nights and went through 9 I.V. bags. I couldn't leave until I was able to keep the food in without having it go right through me. I was on a liquid diet for two days, it sucked, and was getting medicine for nausea. I was so happy to get out, but we ended up back in the ER two hrs. later because now Parker has it. He kept having terrible poops and his temp. was at 102.5. He had to pee in a baggie so we could see if he was dehydrated. He tested at 1+ and the doctor said that when he gets to 2+ or 3+, they put an I.V. in. I really didn't want to see my baby with an I.V., but I knew we had to do what needed to be done so he didn't get as bad as I did. I was so happy when they let us leave, but if he doesn't drink his pedialite, we are going to end up back at the ER. He still has an appetite, but we are having a hard time getting him to drink fluids. The doctor said not to give him formula for 48 hrs. bc it might be too hard on his tummy. He still seems to be a happy boy, but his bottom looks so painful. I feel so bad for him. I wish I could be sick all over again so that he wouldn't have to be. I've decided not to go to school tomorrow so that I can stay with him to make sure he is getting better. Whatever you do, don't come to the Loomis house, we are on quarantine.

Apparently the word of the week in our house is "poop." AHHHHHH

On Sunday we found that our sewer pipe was blocked and the genius who built the house has the pipe coming into the basement.....our finished basement, where we have lots of furniture and electronics. Since I'm prego, Scott got to clean it up. :) I think he loves to do that kind of stuff. It smelled terrible. Lucky for us we were able to get a plumber on Monday and they fixed it. Turned out to be a hairball. Yikes!

To top it all off I am home today with the flu. Let's just say, I run to the bathroom at least every hour. Yes, it's coming our both ends.

Doctor Update

Yesterday while getting the ultrasound, they changed the due date to the 15th of Sept. (exactly 18 month birtday of Parker, and day I first thought it would be.) They said that the baby is measuring exactly for it's due date and as of today I am 12 weeks. It's just as amazing the second time as it was the first time.

I've decided that since we will have a new addition to the family, it's time to have a family blog. Parker will still have his page and baby two will get their own page, but now we have a family page too! Only three more months until we find out! First ultrasound will be March 2nd. I will be 12 weeks at that point.
